Who is it recommended for and what skin issues does it address?
The treatment is ideal for combination and seborrhea-prone skin, characterized by excessive sebum production, enlarged pores, dull, and devitalized appearance. It is especially recommended for those with increased keratinization, frequent blackheads, acne and uneven skin texture. The treatment effectively supports the restoration of skin balance, reduces excess sebum and promotes the development of a clearer, healthier complexion.
Process of treatment, main active ingredients
The treatment starts with a detailed skin assessment followed by makeup removal, the cleansing of the skin and then a Welcome Massage. Next follows the hydration and oxygenation of the epidermis, exfoliation then the manual pore cleansing. After cleansing we soothe and treat the skin with Biologique Recherche’s iconic mask, Masque Vivant while performing a head massage. We continue the treatment with concentrates of herbal active ingredients, then we end the treatment with Crème Dermopurifiante, eye cream and a nourishing lip mask.
The key active ingredients of the treatment are myrrha with its anti-inflammatory effect and java tea leaf extract which normalizes sebum production. Another key ingredient is salicylic acid (BHA), which supports the skin’s natural exfoliation process, thus helps clear excess sebum from the pores. As a result, acne clears up more quickly and redness and irritation around inflamed areas are reduced.
Another key ingredient in the treatment is the Enantia chlorantha extract, derived from the bark of the African Yellow Wood tree. It has a strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties, it effectively supports the treatment of acne-prone skin and enlarged pores by tightening them. It regulates sebum production, diminishing excess shine and significantly improving skin texture – particularly in oily, acne-prone skin or skin with large pores.
